FLAVIA MISSION
The Flavia Mission was founded in California as "Flavia Schools" a 501(c)(3) charity in 2015. It later relocated to Switzerland as a non-profit association now based in Lugano. The Flavia Gallery publishing business is the primary benefactor of The Flavia Mission and its programs. The Flavia Mission conducts no commercial activities.
The Flavia Mission is dedicated to arts education to children and young adults from underprivileged communities around the world.
Among our art endeavours we wish to directly impact children’s communities in around the world with the provision of art teachers and\or art supplies to each school or parish we support.
Initially, we have Identified Fundacíon Hogar San Mauricio in Bogota, Colombia as one of our initial initiative Catholic schools to support with art educators, curriculum and supplies. It is our hope to provide additional art educators at similar facilities across Iberian and ex-Iberian states and where it is needed. Fundacíon Hogar San Mauricio in Bogota, the school where Miguel Weedn grew up. Flavia's grandson Miguel, carries on the leadership of the mission.
At The Flavia Mission we believe as Flavia did, "Every child deserves to be loved, nurtured and to reach for a dream".
We thank you for thinking of us as we pursue this mission around the world.
